Caesar's Forum - Forum of Caesar, Rome: 5 reviews and 8 photos
The first of the Imperial Fora in Rome was built by Julius Caesar in the first century BC. Within it was the Temple of Venus Genetrix, which has left us with three standing (though re-erected) Corinthian columns until this day. The Forum of Caeser is located just below the Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, adjacent to the Roman Forum (though not part of it) and can be viewed from Via dei Fori Imperiali. A statue of Julius Caeser is standing on Via dei Fori Imperiali close to his Forum.
