This church, placed on the shore of the Canal Grande, was built in the time period 1718-1738 by Giovanni Scalfarotto, after an idea of Longhena.
The big green cupola has a statue of San Simeon in top of it.
The white colonnades and the form of the façade of the church, remember to the Pantheon in Rome.
Over the white colons there is a relief made by Cabianca that represent the martyrdom of the Saint Simon and Judas.
