The handicrafts market, located at Mere Puiestee, offers a lot of souvenirs. Many of them are from russian origin and you will see all kind of stuff: Carvings, amber, matyroshka dolls, hand-knitted jackets and whatever. It is slightly larger than the knitting market and offer a larger variety. But the handicrafts market lacks the tradition atmosphere of the knitting market. Also, the knitting market is held in front of a medieval city wall, another plus for the knitting market. However, you can have a look and perhaps you'll find your estonian souvenir at this place. I did not - my estonian souvenir was a sea shell from Tallinn Bay.

Address: Tallinn
Directions: Mere Puiestee, close to Vana Viru
