"Ellis Island" Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by punkpin

The trip to the Statue is overrated. You can enjoy taking the Staten Island Ferry past the statue instead. HOWEVER, Ellis Island houses a fabulous museum about how immigration into the United States used to occur. To get to Ellis Island, you have to stop at the Statue, located on Liberty Island.
