  • A tiny oasis of green & Peter Pan - Brussels

On our last day in Brussels just strolling around enjoying the sunshine we came upon the Jardin D'Egmont. I was surprised to see a statue of Peter Pan in the park when I knew his home is in London. This little park seemed to be a place for locals where children played not on play equipment but played ball games on the grass. We stopped for a coffee here at the charming Orangerie (the telephone number is for the restaurant) the waiter explained they were only serving lunch but agreed to serving the coffee. Although you can still glimpse the cities buildings through the trees the park is a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy one last coffee in the Spring sunshine.
