.. designed by architect Rem Koolhaas and built in 2004, is situated between the River Spree and Klosterstrasse. It is possible to visit the foyer but only with prior arrangement.

"It was indeed designed by Rem Koolhaas and opened in 2004. It is in fact merely a
'cube' made out of steel, glass and aluminium and as such one of the more
'humble' designs by Koolhaas. The most interesting aspect of the building
remains hidden for most of us. It is the route from the ground floor all the way
up. In fact the building hardly has 'floors'. All levels are connected by, what
is said to be, an exciting adventure leading over ramps, stairs, hallways,
narrow corridors etc. They say that employees working there hardly use the
