This was our saviour as we wandered along lungomare Naxos, starving to death with all the regular restaurants closed for siesta (2pm-4pm). This welcoming gastronomia is open all day till midnight and is very popular with the locals (especially at night), probably that's why they even opened a second shop - Fantasy2 - in via Stromboli 9. Here you'll find most delicious arancini (a must to try when being in Sicilia!) - an egg-formed yellow ball of rice with ragu, spices, peas (the important thing - it should be warm, and in Fantasy it is, whereas many other places serve it cold). And don't forget to sample all those different slices of pizza (that's where the fantasy really rules) - with aubergines, eggs, spinach and even tuna! Oh, I'm getting hungry... And then it's cheap - 1.30 euro for a pizza slice or arancini
