"West by God Virginia" Gilbert Things to Do Tip by WILDEFLOWER

Anywhere you look there are beautiful mountains. The trees are green and seedlings are just starting. Birds are abundant. Trout are in the river and streams. I walked all over and it was still hard to inhale all the beauty around me. There are some cute little shops, groceries, restaurants, Hardies Drive thru, I saw some canoes coming down the river. Looked like fun kayaking! There's a lake near by about 10 miles(R.D.Bailey Lake) Nice visitors center and lookout view. There's a new restaurant opening in Gilbert, looked really fun inside. Then there's the rock and roll place. We ate mostly at the lodge. We were well fed there. We walked to Hardees in the evening for icecream. Walked to the Movie Hut(also owned by Tina and Jeff Trent. Sat outside and watched birds from the patio and watched people walk by. We had two dogs visit us at different times each day. A Beagle and a black lab mix.
If you want to relax, this is the place to come.
