"Drusillas Park" East Sussex Things to Do Tip by smirnofforiginal

East Sussex Things to Do: 76 reviews and 240 photos

This is a fantastic Zoo, for many reasons. First off they only keep the animals that they can provide with everything they would have in the wild, so kiss goodbye to lions and tigers and elephants...

The animals they do have are great entertainment, especially for children. There's a walk-through fruit bat enclosure and a viewing dome in the middle of the meerkats.

There's the usual farmyard area and PetWorld which are nicely set up.

There is a fantastic playground for children - big and exciting - hours of entertainment! And a number of hands on activities.

Also a miniature railway (with a small additional cost)

Drusilla's has been voted South East England's number one attraction and the best small zoo in the UK. It really is a great and fun day out for all the family.

Opening times & prices vary, depending on the typoe of ticket and the type of day - best check on the website : http://www.drusillas.co.uk/pages/times.aspx

Address: Alfriston
Directions: Alfriston Road is off the A27
