The tomb of John Gower the first English poet is in the north aisle of the church who died in 1408. Gower studied law but dedicated his life to poetry. His three most famous works were a series of love stories Confessio Amantis, a philosophical treatise Speculum Meditantis and a political satire Vox Clamantis.

La tumba de John el primer poeta inglés que murió en 1.408 se encuentra en el pasillo norte de la catedral. Gower estudió derecho pero dedicó su vida a la poesía.
