We spent a few days, on the Sun Island, and we were overjoyed.
This piece earth is a real recuperation oasis, where one can forget all worries.

It lies at the southwest end of the atolls, and it has a length of 1,6 kilometres and a width of almost 400 meters.

From the airport Male, to the island is a distance of 107 kilometres.
With the speedboat, one can put back this distance in two and half hours and with the seaplane, in 35 minutes.

The island was opened for the tourists, in the year 1998, and is one of the biggest and most comfortable tourist’s resorts of Maldives.

It lies under the direction of the Villa Hotels chain, and offers to the visitors, 350 elegant rooms, with all the comfort that one need.

You can find on the island many restaurants and bars, with a large variety of food and drink.
