Even though it is called a homestay, you do not get to stay, eat, interact and live like the people in the house. What you get are tiny room with bathroom attached, just like a small motel. However, the set up is more
intimate, where you can lounge at the common areas like the living room and dining room (with kettle and kitchenette).

The location is great if you are looking for a beach holiday. The beach is right across the road. You can even watch sunrise from the verandah.

The room is clean and simple. They provide prayer mats and surah yassin (prayer book). There is a small TV, with interior antenna - so reception is very bad! But hey, we were not there to watch TV, so it is OK.

Food is a problem as they do not provide food service, unlike true homestay concept where you get to eat with the host! They are plenty of restaurant nearby but the problem is - they only open for dinner. So, for breakfast we had to walk about 1km to a food stall since we do not have any transport.

Taxis are scarce and it is better to have your own transport.

Unique Qualities: The verdict - it is misleading to call it a homestay. It is more like a beach motel. Thumb up for the sunrise view!
