Of course, the Egapark was much more than just a pavilion.
Indeed, there was the aviary (pic 1), the first flush of spring (pic 2), the crying wolf (pic 3), more flowers and a boquet from the pavilion (pics 4 & 5).
When the flowerbed is at its finest in April and May, over 150,000 tulips, hyacinths, violets and daisies are in bloom and that is changed to summer flowers from July to October. It takes up 6,000sqm of the park, or about one seventh.
There's also a rose garden, opened in the year 2000, that itself covers 28,000sqm. It features classical Mediterranean style terraces, themed gardens and water features and is also popular for weddings when married couples have the opportunity to plant a rose in a separate part of the Rose Garden on their wedding day.
