We had a perfectly splendid meal at Zinc, and judging from the popularity and various restaurant reviews, that is more the rule than the exception. Our group was a challenge -- we came with fourteen people and unexpectedly added two or three more -- but our service was unfailingly courteous and reasonably prompt. Having just been to South Africa and sampled the wines at the vineyards, I was intrigued to see the offering of a flight of SA wines and very pleased with the selection when it arrived. All of our dishes, appetizers and entrees alike, were beautifully presented and delicious. Many of us ordered the special that evening, so I'll only talk about what's actually on the menu.

Favorite Dish: The fried crab spring rolls were really light and lovely, but I have to say that the chocolate tasting we had for dessert was the best. Mmmm...
