"Downtown Fredericksburg" Fredericksburg Things to Do Tip by Tom_Fields
Fredericksburg Things to Do: 100 reviews and 265 photos
This town has much to see downtown. The best starting point is the Visitors Center, whose address and phone number are given here. While there, you might pick up a copy of the Fredericksburg Guidebook, a valuable resource.
There are a number of architectural features, including the Courthouse, City Hall, and St George's Episcopal Church. And they're all within easy walking distance of each other.
My recommendation is to park in one of the several lots along the Rappahannock River. You can reach every point of interest from there in a few minutes.
Address: 706 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401
Directions: From I-95, take Hwy 3 east. It becomes William St. Take that to the Rappahannock River. Park near there.
