Not sure what the point is, but there's tones of people who come here to hang out and sit on the many steps. A fountain at the bottom of the steps leads to a street filled rich shops, some of the most expensive in Rome.

People sit and chill out here, passing the time. The view from the top of the steps sweeps across the city and is quite spectacular at night.
