When we visit my parents, they quite often take us over here to this museum.
The kids like climbing up into the restored Drum Point Lighthouse, and the big jaws of the local fossil shark is always good for a look. There is a room for children with dress-up clothes and a place to look for shark's teeth (after which the docent will identify the shark, and give you one of them to take away). The aquarium which includes otters is always good for several minutes and you can walk out on the boardwalk into the local marsh.
We did not get to do the excursion to Cove Point.
