Crêperie du Manoir Breton: "MY PARISIAN FRIEND SAYS THESE ARE THE BEST CREPES" Creperie Manoir Breton Tip by ForestqueenNYC
Creperie Manoir Breton, Paris: 1 reviews and 3 photos
I love crepes, but not being French I am not an expert. So a crepe from a crepe stand on Blvd St. Michele at half the price as in a creperie is good enough for me. But of course you can't have cider with it if you get them at a stand., and that's the tradition.
My Parisian friend is an expert and she knows exactly where to go on the Rive Gauche and that is le Crêperie du Manoir Breton. (Customer reviews from another web site were all bad.) She says they are not as greasy as they are in other places. There are several creperies on Rue Odessa, but she only goes to this one.
The crepes are good and it's really nice to wash them down with a bowl of cider. But I still can't tell the difference between the ones there and my little crepe stand across from the Ecole de Mines.
The serviers were very friendly.
Favorite Dish: I have had the marron chantilly, the beurre et citron, and one with ham and cheese.
