  "The Walk"

The stores here range from Borders to H&M to Coach. Whatever you're looking for, you should be able to find, for a steal (I went nuts in the Coach store). We went "window shopping" in the expensive casino areas and then found the same items int he Factory Stores for much less.

The one thing you need to be careful of is the traffic. The roads are busy and "The Walk" is an outdoor shopping center. Walking from store to store can be a bit treacherous.

Parking is available in the nearby Convention Center or in some small lots around the shopping center.

What to buy: Stores you'll find here: Eddie Bauer, Nike, Reebok, Dress Barn, Borders, H&M, Coach, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Yankee Candle, Carters, American Eagle, Aeropostale...and a bunch more. There's some construction as they expand the options.

What to pay: Factory stores usually run 10-50% less than regular stores. But keep in mind the 7% NJ sales tax.

Directions: Michigan Avenue, near Bally's.
