Place Broglie is a lovely, wide, quiet square, lined with trees and surrounded by interesting buildings. At the end of the Place is the Operan and an Obelisk dedicated to the man who liberated Strasbourg at the end of WWII.

Also in this square is the building where the Marseillaise, the French National anthem, was first performed.
