"A Sobering Experience" War Remnants Museum Tip by bsfreeloader

War Remnants Museum, Ho Chi Minh City: 106 reviews and 220 photos

A visit to the War Remnants Museum is beyond sobering. Consisting of eight permanent exhibits and various other special collections, the museum exits to collect, preserve, study, and display exhibits from wars brought against the Vietnamese. Perhaps the most moving exhibit is an unforgettable ?requiem,? which is a collection of photos taken by 134 war reporters of eleven nationalities killed during the Vietnam War. Much of what is on display isn?t easy to stomach, but that?s the point. The museum is open every day from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
