"Bicycle around the temples" Angkor Wat Transportation Tip by Ewingjr98

Bicycle is the preferred method for locals to get around town and the temples, and it can be your method as well. The Grand Route around the temples is about 30 kms, so I wouldn't go the entire distance unless I was used to riding, and rain is common certain times of the year. You can rent a bike at numerous spots in town for about $2 to $4 per day, and it will probably be a big pile of junk! From town to the park entrance is about 5km or so. On a motorcycle or car trip, three days just gets you started seeing the temples, so on bike, I'd plan for at least one or two more days.
