One of my favourite places to go out for dinner is Le Cap, in the historic heart of Brussels. I particularly like it because it stays open until late and you can order dinner at a reasonnable time, that is between 10pm and midnight. The atmosphere is modern and jovial, the decor is trendy with an industrial edge and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I also like that the space between tables is larger that in the average trendy restaurant in Brussels, but opt always for the tables near the window, as, surprisingly, you will have more privacy there. When the weather is warm enough they also have a terrace on the square for the people who prefer to dine al fresco.

Favorite Dish: The menu at Le Cap is quite extensive and includes Belgian specialities, as well as good salads, pasta dish, meat and fish dishes. Everything is tastefully presented and, best of all, for a reasonnable price.

Their Américain (a local variety steak tartare) is one of the best in town.
