"Calle Alcala" Puerta de Alcala Tip by el_ruso

Puerta de Alcala, Madrid: 47 reviews and 71 photos

This street runs roughly parallel to Gran Via from Plaza de Cibeles to Puerta del Sol. Alcala, along with Gran Via, are the two grandest avenues of Madrid. Alcala is the heart of financial industry, and especially around Plaza de Sevilla you can see bank buildings that are truly outstanding architecturally.

It continues past Cibeles to the triumph arch Alcala, past El Retiro park and all the way to the bullring.
