Located about 7 miles from Hue, on the banks of the Perfume River, the Tomb of Minh Mang is a very impressive place. The entrance walkway is lined by various stone statues providing a 'royal' welcome. The buildings in the complex are beautifully decorated and surrounded by well kept gardens, lakes and bridges.
There is much more here than I was expecting to see. a bonus is, when you have visited the tomb you can pick up a 'dragon boat' to cruise you back down the river to Hue.
