The famous York Maze will open between July 25th and September 3rd in 2016. Seven days per week from 10.00 to 18.30 ( last admission 16.30).
This year it will be bigger and better than in the past and remains at the site at Elvington Lane. This should be the worlds biggest maze this year and will cover the 45 acre site. There will also be a children's playground, cafe and small zoo where animals that eat maize will be seen.
Disabled friendly too. There is a outdoor barbeque too with burgers, bacon and sausages cooked to order.
From 25 July until 3 September EYMS will be running a special journey from York to the York Maze. Buses leave York (Station Road) at 10.25am and York (Piccadilly) at 10.35am, getting to the maze at 10.50am. The journey back from the maze leaves at 4.25pm, getting to York just before 5pm. Buses run Monday-Saturday.
If you show your bus ticket when you get there you’ll get £1 off full price adult and child tickets into the maze.

Directions: At the Grimston Bar roundabout take the A1079 road for Hull but immediately move in to the right hand lane for a right turn marked Elvington and the maze is 2 miles down this road on the right.
