Marina de la Duquesa.: "Self-catering is probably the best option" Estacar de la Duquesa Hotel Tip by Ekaterinburg

My sister has an apartment in this complex so this is where I stay when I visit Duquesa. There is a hotel near the Golf course on the other side of the highway but I've never even seen it so obviously can make no comment. Most people who stay here, apart from those who own their own homes, rent apartments either in this complex or the others dotted round the port area. Marina de la Duquesa is a great location to stay in. Some of the apartments face the port, the others the enclosed garden which has two huge pools and loads of green space to sunbathe or sit reading in. Immediately outside of the garden gate is the beach so really this location is superb.

Unique Qualities: The most outstanding aspect of this accommodation is of course, it's perfect location right next to the sea. It's also within three minutes of the port and the exit from the garden gate takes you straight to the Paseo Maritim leading to Sabinillas. It's a quiet, well-ordered place and the apartments are large and comfortable.They all have huge balconies as well and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

To rent one of these apartments or some of the other options round the port you will need to contact one of the rental agents in the port. I haven't ticked a price box as obviously the price is per apartment per week and not per person per night. In high season, an apartment here could cost up to EUR 800
