Musee du Champignon - the mornings outing chosen by 2 small boys who had seen a postcard of mushrooms with faces. Not particularly wishin to go into (another) cave to look at mushrooms but more believing that they wouldn't really, we tried to disuade them but it was no use... so the mushroom caves we headed... and d'ya know what I would recommend them!!!

And, when you purchase your ticket you have, for a small amount more, the option of purchasing a ticket for Parc et Lumiere. In yet another cave the whole of Saumur has been carved, in miniature, out of rocks with amazing detail and scale. It's all lit up to make it all the more atmospheric.
