This fascinating museum is located near to the Tibetan medical & astrological institute. It exhibits hundreds of herbs and such like in glass pots in cabinets with their names and what ailments they're meant to cure. They even have silver and gold leafs which are meant to cure something but I can't remember what! In the basement of the museum are some nice Thangkas (cloth paintings), medical instruments and ancient texts on hand-made Tibetan paper, some of which date back to the 8th century.

Open: Mon-Sat 9am-1pm & 2-5pm. Admission: Rs5.
