The ancient Red House, former "Vaistlihof" is one of the oldest buildings in Vaduz dating back to the 15th century. It consists of a gabled structure with a timber framed tower, which was added in the early 19th century.
The grounds of the house were home to the royal vineyards and therefore an old wine press from the 17th century can still be seen here.
The Red House is situated north of the city centre, on the Prince Franz Josef street which is leading up to the castle.
