Segovia Things to Do: 300 reviews and 763 photos

This is the most famous non-royal palace in Segovia, dates to the XV century. It was built for Don Pedro Lopez de Ayala, count of Fuensalida. The "picos", diamond-shaped points, were added by its third owner, Juan de la Hoz, the chief accountant to the king. In the Renaissance era the main entrance to the city, the Puerta de San Martin, was located next to this building.
