La Paz is the main town in southern baja and suprisingly nice and fairly untouristy.
i spend about a week there and really enjoyed the seafront promenade and the good vibe in town.
the town has a university and therfor a lot of young locals which gives it a good atmosphere.

it's certainly a nice alternative to some of the resort towns nearby.

Directions: located in the southern part of southern baja.
