Although London has many famous children, one of the best-known is an infamous one: Jack The Ripper. The brutality of his crimes and the mystery around his identity made him a subject of interest. If you would like to learn about the Ripper murders at locations where the murrders happened, I would like to suggest a tour with walks.com. This company offers excellent and unusual walking tours with the ?Jack The Rpper?- walk being the most popular one. The tour is offered every evening at 07:30 pm (on Saturday, also on 03:00 pm) and leads you to different places in East London. If possible, try to get a tour with Donald. That does not mean that the other guides are not good or friendly. But Donald Rumbelow is probably the world?s leading authority when it comes to Jack the Ripper. Whatever comes into your mind to ask him ? Donald is able to find the right answer. And not only that, he also knows, how to do the tour in an entertaining and humorous way.
Some basic information about the Ripper may be useful, but is not necessary. Why that? Because Jack the Ripper did not murder in a sequence which makes it easy to follow the murders chonologically. So the tour is not made up in a chronological order and it is possible to get confused with one or the other murder. But if that happens, just ask your guide and he/she will help you to understand it better. If you still have any doubts, you can buy Donald?s book at the end of the tour.
The tour costs 6 pounds, discounts are offered for different groups. And believe me, the tour is surely worth more than just the six pounds!

Meeting point is at Tower Hill tube. If you exit the station, just walk up the steps to the left of the exit. Your guide will wait there. Please make sure that it?s indeed your London Walks ? guide by looking for the leaflets or a London Walks - badge. Pre-booking is not necessary.

Address: Various types to choose from in London.
Directions: Tower Hill tube station (See above)
