"Fading Traditions" Turquel Local Custom Tip by solopes
Turquel Local Customs: 9 reviews and 35 photos
Casal de Val-de-Ventos, atop the mountain of Candeeiros, was, in the old days, a remote and poor village, hard to reach and with rare communication with the "outside world". Good roads (recently improved) and the industry of stone extracting, allowed the opening and development of the recent days.
New villas appear here and there, and the signs of the traditional stone small houses are fading, but still present.
