Be aware that if you are out in the evening and are a couple you will be hounded by people trying to sell you flowers for your 'pretty girl.' I think there were 8-12 of them working the St. Mark's Square while we were there and each one tried to sell you a flower and followed you until they were tired of asking. Very annoying.
