"cathedral" Wawel Cathedral Tip by kirmarsh

Wawel Cathedral, Krakow: 92 reviews and 159 photos

The royal cathedral at Wawel hill

Before entering the cathedral it is worth buying a ticket for the different sections within. I cannot remember the cost of the tickets but they were very inexpensive, with the ticket you can not only look at the beautiful interior of the cathedral but also go up the Sigismund tower, the crypt and tombs of kings. You can also get a guide book when you by the tickets. My favourite part of the cathedral is the Sigismund tower, which is a 16th century wooden tower, which houses the largest cathedral bell in Poland.
