"Peek into the former Lion's Inn" Art & Architecture Tip by DanielF
Art & Architecture, Brussels: 69 reviews and 177 photos
This XVII century building next to the Saint Gery's Hall used to be a post inn. A few decades ago, the city renovated it and transformed it into an appartment complex. During the refurbishing works, one of the branches of the Senne river was uncovered in a few metres and, today, this tiny stretch is the only place in Brussels where the river that once flew across the city can be seen.
For that purpose, you have to get into the courtyard, taking into account that this is a private property and that the inhabitants expect that you respect their privacy and their rest.
Address: Many to be found in Brussels
