L'Abruzzo: "Neighborhood Italian" L'Abruzzo Tip by Dabs

L'Abruzzo, Brussels: 1 reviews and 0 photos

We met up one night with VTer Gillian_mclaughlin and she took us to one of her favorite neighborhood restaurants, a cozy Italian restaurant. We got into a rather interesting discussion on restaurants in the US vs. restaurants in Europe while here, this was a place that was far enough outside the center where most everyone lived in the neighborhood and people were treated more like friends than customers.

Favorite Dish: I started off with fondue au fromage, not fondue as in the kind you dip bread in but fried cheese with a little breading. My entree was a veal dish with a cream mushroom sauce. Everything here was very good.

The total bill for the 3 of us who ate and drank pretty heartily was 80E, entrees were in the 12-14E range, appetizers 9-10E.
