"The Town Hall" Top 5 Page for this destination Stratford-upon-Avon Things to Do Tip by Jenniflower

Stratford-upon-Avon Things to Do: 198 reviews and 444 photos

The Town Hall is a fabulous building in its own right!

All types of functions are held here, when we were there they had beautiful flowers on dislpay for the start of spring.

It has a lovely statue of Shakespeare mounted on the outside of the wall, in recognition of the man who basically put Stratford-upon-Avon on the map.

It is in commemoration of the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-1977)

A dead giveaway to the age of this building is the 'God save the King' inscribed on the wall on the High Street side :)
