If you just need a place to clean stay but do not care a hang about atmosphere then you should check out the Hotel Ibis Furtmayr in Regensburg. For North Americans unfamiliar with the Ibis hotels, you will find that these look just like Comfort Inns or Red Roof Inns back home. Reliable, affordable and predictable. When I am in a town just for a night I like to stay close to the train station and this hotel was just a block away. A nice thing about Ibis' is that they often offer discounts so check it out.

Unique Qualities: Clean but basically a cement block of a building. The beds are alway large and compfy. These are basically business hotels.
