  Jinggao/Zenggao (big)

It differs from the other kind of Jinggao/Zenggao cake (small Jinggao/Zenggao cake) which is a small round cake and can be found every corner in Muslim Quarter. The material, shape and taste are totally different. I call it big Jinggao/Zenggao cake.

The snack bar is named "Lord of Jinggao of Southeast Asia". It is located in the cross of Ma Jia Shi Zi and Xi Yang Shi. It is on the corner, with a red banner, written "Lord of Jinggao of Southeast Asia", a funny brand.

Sorry, the pic is awful, there is too many steam above the barrel, so I couldn't take a good pic. It's the disgusting pic I have ever taken.

Favorite Dish: Jinggao/Zenggao cake (big one) is made of sticky rice, dates, red beans and honey. It's delicious, fragrant and sweet. I enjoy eating it, and I'm sure most of people like it.

It is filled in a huge steel barrel. Every minute you will see a small queue in frone of the barrel. Every day, the little snack bar sells over 1 ton of it. The seller stops working before 5PM. So, it's impossible to get it in the evening.

Give seller 3 yuan, try it, you'll not disappointed.

Address: Centre of Xian
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: When you walk on the main street of Muslim Corner, turn left when you see a blue tablet ,with three Chinese charaters Xi Yang Shi. Walk straight until you see several crowded snack bars on your right, the destination is on this corner.
