"Worlds Biggest Dinosaurs" Cabazon Things to Do Tip by Yaqui

Remember those days of cheezy roadside entertainment as kids during the hayday of route 66? Well, I do and this dates me! I saw this on the way to graduation and got all excited because I wanted to ensure we stopped on the way back so my boys could enjoy the yester years. They absolutely loved it. They have two dinosaurs. They were built by Knott's Berry Farm sculptor Claude K. Bell (1897-1988) in the 1960s to attract customers to his Wheel Inn Cafe which opened in 1958. Ms. Dinny is the Apatosaurus that took 11 years to build and houses a educational gift store inside her and where you get tickets to explore inside Mr. Rex. Mr. Rex the Tyrannosaurus stands over 65 feet tall and you can climb inside of him to his mouth and look outside from inside between his huge teeth. It was really fun to do this. Its a bit scary for those who fear heights, but well worth it. Just take your time ok.
