There are only one park in the Hilton area where you can do even minimal birding....
Village Park. The park has picnicking areas which can interfere with successful birding in the summer, but the trails and fields are mostly quiet of humans during spring and fall.

Warblers, Sparrows, Chickadees, Robins, Finches, Catbirds, a few Flickers and Hawks can be see in the area. Sometimes the canadian geese flock into the fields for forage. There is a stream running through the park. The tree line is good habitat for finches and swallows.

The park is not large and the trails are not difficult or strenuous. As long as you are dressed properly for the season, you should have a pleasant hike even if the birding is slim pickings.

to get there:
Village Park (also called Jennejahn Park) is accessed from route 18/route 259 connecting to Cambridge Road then to Sherwood Drive.
