"boat trip on the Thames" Boat Trips - River Cruises Tip by louisetaft

A great thing to do on a sunny day is to take a boat trip from Westminster to Greenwich. Ignore the tourist boats and just take a ferry. This will be much cheaper but you'll still get some commentary from the crew. Go one way and then stroll round Greenwich. Climb the hill through the park to the Observatory and stand on the Meridian line. Catch the train back to London Bridge. You can then get lunch in the excellent (but busy) Borough market.

Address: Westminster
Directions: Closest tube is Westminster. Catch the ferry from Westminster pier - the east side of the bridge on the north side of the river
