Ellison Park is one of the older parks in the area and has well-established hiking trails that are great for birding. There are also two large grass field, a running creek and ponds/swamps area that add to the diversity of wildlife to be seen. There are restroom facilities and water fountains.

You can see warblers, sparrows, swallows, woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches and occassionally a hawk or owl. So get out your binoculars and head on over for a few hours at the park if you are in the Rochester/Penfield area.

to get there:
take I-590 to route 590 to the Blossom Road exit. go easton Blossom about half-mle and see signs.
