"Museum of Childhood" V & A Museum of Childhood Tip by jo104

V & A Museum of Childhood, London: 6 reviews and 16 photos

Being a HUGE Miffy fan I leaped at the opportunity to see Miffy's Happy 50th Birthday exhibition. Miffy is the creation of Dick Bruna a little white rabbit who has developed world wide fame as well as becoming a little bit more human everyday.

The museum of childhood houses collections of childrens toys dating back to 16th centuary.
Also there are various interactive stations for children to play. I saw parents & children playing snakes & ladders, a small sandpit and some educational stations.

They run several workshops details can be found on the website.

The restaurant is obviously very child friendly and also seemed to have very healthy choices.

There are lifts as well as stairs to the 3 floors & disabled facilities.

I think it is a great place to bring children and even for adults to relive their childhood memories. Best of all this museum is completely free.
