This facility is run by the World Wildlife Fund. Its purpose is to rehabilitate Orangutans and return them to a wild state. Unfortunately for me, they have done their job too well. I was unable to see any orangutans here due to the fact that during the rainy season there is abundant food in the forest and they do not return to the center. I am told that most other times, they return to feed.
