Canton Express: "fast food..." Glasgow Restaurant Tip by iaint

Glasgow Restaurants: 201 reviews and 207 photos

This is quick cheap Chinese food. In and out in 15 minutes, £12 for 2 (incl the Diet cokes).

No wine, no candles, no romantic atmosphere, no dim sum. If you want that, too bad. Go elsewhere.

BUT it has been there for years, and the diners are 50/50 Chinese origin to European origin, 'cos the food is good. Thats the thing... How many fancy restaurants have you been to, with fancy decor, fancy waiters, fancy prices and s....y food.

Favorite Dish: I had some kind of char siu pork dish. It was OK. My son had char siu chow mein, and it looked great.
I believe that if you speak Cantonese, and order the special chow mein, it comes with tripe... Urban myth?

Address: Sauchiehall St.
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: Just on the city side of the motorway, Charing Cross.
Price: US$11-20
Rating: 4
