"Super central B&B in a bustling square!" Vecchia Firenze Tip by Zlur

If you're travelling on a budget then this is the place to be. Vecchia Firenze is situated on the 3rd floor of an old building from the 1500's though it's served with a lift. Some rooms have views overlooking the square, some don't, all with private bathrooms and TV. Unfortunately there was no phone or safe available in our room.

Unique Qualities: The location of this B&B is what attracted us most. It's situated on the lovely Piazza Santo Spirito which is located 5 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge yet there's always something happening in the square...lined by lots of cafes and restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner doesn't speak much English but he does try his best to be as helpful as possible. Value of the rooms are exceptional (60 Euros a night in Jan). We opted not to eat breakfast there, but grabbed a fresh bread roll and cappuccino from a cafe before heading out for the day.
