"Have a Look at the Carillon" Art Nouveau of Brussels Tip by DanielF

Art Nouveau of Brussels, Brussels: 25 reviews and 61 photos

The arch that connects the Congress Palace with the Dinasty Palace is decorated with a carillon which was installed with the occasion of the 1958 Universal Exhibition. It is a so-called horloge à jacquemart (for the little man who hits the bells with a hammer). It represents different historic and folkloric characters of Brussels.
